BILL WEIR, a Florida native, obtained his Florida Real Estate License in 1979 and brings a wealth of real estate expertise to Commercial Real Estate’s office. In addition to real estate, Bill owned and managed Weir & Son Construction Company of Boca Raton, Florida, a general contracting company where he developed and managed commercial properties in Broward and Palm Beach counties. He also built and sold properties in some of south Florida’s premier communities such as Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, Boca Bath & Tennis Club, Boca Sailing & Racquet Club, and Carriage Hill and properties in the town of Gulfstream, Florida. Most recently he was involved with land sales & building in the western mountains of Lake Toxaway & Cashiers, North Carolina.
Prior to his career in real estate and construction he attended Florida State University focusing on Business Administration and later attended Florida International University in Miami studying Construction Management and Real Estate.
When he’s not working, Bill enjoys deep sea fishing in the Bahamas, boating & fishing in the Thousand Island region of northern New York State and mountain hiking in Western North Carolina. He volunteers at the Humane Societies of Vero Beach & Indian River County. He is focused on keeping a healthy balance between the business community and environmental awareness in beautiful Indian River County.
